Here at Emporium, we’re known for unique offerings on a locally-driven, seasonal menu. One of the (many) bonuses of life in Hawke’s Bay is the fresh bounty of the land and sea – and we’re delighted to share some of the best of that bounty with you.
Our Chef Sara and her team create dishes that reflect their love of various gastronomic traditions and their commitment to this region.
Our small, but extremely delicious menus feature contemporary food designed for relaxed dining to suit the time of day. Nothing makes us happier than seeing a table of friends or family laughing over a long weekend brunch, or a quick drink that turns into dinner for the whole crew.
Our beverage list is one of the most extensive in Hawke's Bay. We’re proud to offer a great range of wines from down the road and much further afield, an enviable line-up of draft and craft beers and our bar staff are nothing short of gifted with a cocktail shaker! Our unique Wine Showcase provides the opportunity to sample some unusual and top shelf wines by the glass. If you’re after something more caffeinated, we serve local Hawthorne Coffee (NZ’s most awarded roastery).
As like most, we’re on a post COVID journey, operating in a different and evolving environment, our food selection and service offering therefore reflects this. Currently we’re open Wednesday – Friday 2pm 'til late (for drinks, dinner & bar/late night snacks), and weekends 7am 'til late (for breakfast, brunch, drinks, dinner & bar/late night snacks). We’re constantly reviewing our opening times & will be extending them just as soon as we’re able.
